In line with AMC2016, Asian Women Mathematicians Forum 2016 will be held at 28 July 2016 in Bali-Indonesia. In this forum we will discuss the participations of women mathematicians in developing mathematics and applications in various fields as well as the role of mathematics in human development in Asia. The forum aims in establishing a network of women mathematicians in Asia. The forum addresses issues regarding opportunities, challenges and involvement of women in mathematics. The forum also shares best practices as well as research experiences done by women mathematicians. This forum is very important to Asia since it will be attended by prominent mathematicians in Asia as well as other continents and supported by all Mathematical Societies in Asia: Chinese Math Soc., Indian Math Soc., Math. Soc. of Japan, Korean Math. Soc., and all mathematical societies in South East Asia.

The Asian Women Mathematicians Forum a 2016 will be expected to be attend by almost 60 women mathematicians in Asia and other countries, including as invited speakers in AMC 2006 (8 persons: Helen Chick- Australia, Karin Baur-Austria, Nor Haniza Sarmin-Malaysia, Maslina Darus-Malaysia, Ana Bela Cruzeiro-Portugal, Susanne Brenner-USA, Hilda Assyiyatun-Indonesia and Diah Chaerani-Indonesia) and parallel speakers at AMC 2016. We also invite: Motoko Kotani-Japan, Sunsook Noh-Korea, Polly Sy-Phillipines, Wanida Hemakul-Thailand and Sri Wahyuni-Indonesia to share their expert and their experience on mathematics development, not only in their field, but also in organizations, communication and supporting activities as women mathematicians.

Please join us in the Asian Women Mathematicians Forum 2016 while you are attending Asian Mathematics Conference 2016 at Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. Your participation, women or men, in support of women in developing mathematical sciences will help to make the Asian Women Mathematicians Forum 2016 a great success.

The Asian Women Mathematicians Forum 2016 is supported by International Mathematical Union (IMU) through the Committee for Women in Mathematics (CWM), and Indonesian Mathematical Society IndoMS).
